Niousha has developed an acting paradigm consisting of comedic chops, and dramatic, social realism power. Her value added to any project is a Director’s fondest hope. She speaks English, Farsi, and has a working knowledge of Arabic and Spanish.
Niousha has had a Recurring role on The Young and the Restless, and has been featured on Spike TV; she has been highlighted by ABC for their upcoming pilot season based on her auditions last season. She also has half a dozen Independent features to her credit.
She is a coffee aficionado to the point of being a “coffee nut”; her goal is to taste coffee at every coffee shop in Los Angeles. Her other hobbies are getting lost and discovering/exploring new places, routes, people, environments, all this she feels feed her creative well, along with reading, singing, and dancing (Tango, Salsa, Belly Dance & Flamenco).
Niousha in her own words: “In person, I am humble, in character I seek perfection for the role… What sets me apart from others past the visuals is that I can be/play different dimensions of a woman. I can be sexy, but I can also be extremely goofy and I am not afraid to look silly. I am nowhere near mastering this art, gladly, but I guess you can say I am on the right track. Life, as Stella Adler so beautifully said, beats down and crushes the soul. Art reminds you that you have one. I wholeheartedly admire this craft because it is an odyssey of human discovery. I am loving every step of this soul fulfilling journey.”
